Ten Days Later

I've been in a bit of an artistic funk lately, here's basically everything I've drawn in the past 10 days.

Kusu and the Giant Mountain

Kusu requested a portrait "like WaM's except male". I had a lot of trouble with this, I just had no idea where I wanted to go with it. Here were all my ideas:
-Kusu in a suit, or "Kusuit"
-Kusu driving a ... I think it was a 50's chevrolet convertable
-Kusu standing, doing something
-Kusex and the City (Okay, not really)

So yeah, I drew those out, full Kusu and everything, scrapped them, had this idea as I was coming out of (or was it going to) the bathroom, and went with it.
Then when I got that far, I had to keep redoing Kusu's head so it wouldn't look like one of those Doll House people from The Big Comfy Couch.

Then I sat on it for a while.

Then today I was just, okay let's colour it. And I did.

I was asked to do this for a sig for Blankspace and TFS for this Smash Bros. Brawl tourney. Blank told me it could be any size, and that he could just crop it. So I was like "YEAH? Let's see you crop THIS." So I made as sig unfriendly as possible because I am mean sometimes.


I wanted to make this into a comic format, but I think the idea's been played out a bit. That there's Kazhiim by the by.

So TFS PMed me a few days ago

"I TAUGHT CHILDERN HNISTROIES TODAY

TDFRAW ME TREACHING HISTORIES TO CHIRELADNS THX"

She elaborated that she had been teaching about "THE ROAMSN", so I was like, okay I can work with that.


Then she forgot she asked for it, and was delightfully surprised.
